engaged Lean team? What if your team could eliminate resistance to change,
foster deeper collaboration, and fully embrace Lean culture? What would that
look like—and how do you make it happen?
A strong team culture is the foundation of successful construction projects.
Just like a championship team, a high-performing project team must be
intentionally built, developed, and supported. Selecting the right individuals—
those who collaborate effectively, align with project goals, and foster strong
trade partner relationships—sets the stage for success. But assembling a
great team is only the first step.
Sustaining a winning culture requires accountability at all levels. Leaders
must set the tone by providing consistent feedback, recognizing
achievements, and fostering an environment where every team member—
from foremen to apprentices—feels valued and empowered. Open
communication and trust creates an inclusive atmosphere where continuous
improvement thrives.
Just as great teams refine their playbooks, high-performing projects must
continuously evaluate and enhance their culture. By regularly soliciting
feedback, identifying efficiency opportunities, and implementing
improvements collaboratively, teams develop a resilient and adaptable team
culture."
